Otter Cove Residence: A Home Design on a Cliff Overlooking the Ocean in California

Otter Cove Residence designed by Studio Sagan Piechota Architecture, a home design on a cliff overlooking the ocean in Carmel, California. The big area of the house was masked by splitting the house into two wings. The plan-split made a courtyard, the easterly wing providing privacy from Main road One and the western wing buffering the ocean wind. Secondary spaces are located on the lower floor and borrow light from above through three staircases. These spaces supply hiatus from the panoramic drama on the upper floor. Walls are located alone where absolutely necessary for privacy or complex body part and cared for as monolithic elements.
