The Chairs Design is Created from Recycled PET Bottles by Benjamin Hubert

Benjamin Huberts Pod Chair verbalises the demand for private relaxation. The British designer created this type of chair for Netherlands-based modern furniture company De Vorm. The felt used in forming the chairs design is created from recycled PET bottles, pressed into the mold. The chairs shell is the largest objective made by using pressed PET felt technology. Production includes cutting the material and stacking it on its wood base, while the capstone convey the chairs design to a modern outcome. Constructed as a sustainable alternative to large upholstered furniture, the Pod Chair can be easily recycled as it does not contain a mix of glue, wood, textile, etc. Its contemporary form and protective design can be successfully displayed in residential home, offices, commercial buildings or hospitality establishments.
