This Home Renovation of Century-Old Chalet in the Swiss Alps
Situated in the Swiss Alps, in the municipality of Gryon, Chalet Noisettes called for an upgrade that would lead the living spaces and take the century-old log cabin up to date. Swiss architectural studio Lacroix Chessex commenced renovating the chalet and extending its beautified modern form to adapt the needs. This home renovation conveyed a new liveliness to both the cabin and its surroundings, centripetal the modern design with the existing one. Natural larch was by artificially aged to fabricate an interesting blend with the old building. Extending the cabin entailed more room for the family and guests and a new modern appeal. Colors were slightly adjusted on the exterior, while the interior design had a dynamical exercise of graphic tones in the private zone. The living areas were proceeded natural and in utter balance with the natural ringing colours. The bettered Chalet Noisettes straightaway welcomes family and friends with five bedrooms and two bathrooms and a ambitious design combining old and new.
